Laserforce uses a handicapping system for most of its games. The idea behind it is that as you get better, the game should get a bit more difficult to continue to challenge you. In standard (basic) games as you gain levels, you also receive special abilities.

The actual level parameters for average score required and number of games played with vary by site. The main factors that will influence how your site sets their level breaks will be:

  • Game Length (Standard game length varies from 7.5 minutes to 20 minutes)
  • Number of Suits (Vest numbers can vary from 12 to 50+)
  • Number of base and neutral targets available per game (Generally ranges from 2 to 5)

Because of this, I’m not (at this time) going to try to list all the level for breaks for all sites. Also, some sites have also added a Level 7 to their standard missions. As these are site specific and are set up differently, I have not listed them either. However, keep reading for general information about the Levels, the Special Abilities, and some advice on how to raise your score.

You have to zap Level 1's and 2's twice to deactivate them. You still score points for each shot.

5 - Starlord

Reset

You have to zap Level 1's and 2's three times to deactivate them. You still score points for each shot.

6 - Lasermaster

Nuke

You have to zap Level 1's and 2's three times and Level 3's twice to deactivate them. You still score points for each shot
